On Saturday 6 April 2019, Nordic Snails participated in the Danish Gastronomic Society's annual meeting and was awarded a prize at this occasion. Thus, the product will be get the same celebrity status as other products such as. Lykkeberg herring, Castello cheese, Brøndum schnapps and Nørregade sweets, which have also gained recognition over the years.
The prizes have been awarded since 1966 also to personalities such as René Redzepi (NOMA), Mette Blomsterberg, Peter Beier, Nikolaj Kirk, Francis Cardenau and many others.
The event took place at Restaurant Styrbæk in Odense and the guests were served our snail caviar.
